SIMOS Warehouse Quality Inspector/Baler in Braselton, Georgia

Join the SIMOS Team! We're looking for 1st shift inspectors/Deluxers/Balers to start immediately in Braselton, GA. This position requires someone to use an IPAD for their entire 8 hour shift. Associates will audit/inspect large, heavy, bulky furniture for any damages. They will have to use the Client software to answer quality control questions and input information using their IPAD. The Baler position consist of recycling cardboard boxes and running a baler machine while maintaining the work area, keeping equipment in a clean and orderly condition, and follow prescribed safety regulations throughout the shift.
Shift Information:
Inspector/Deluxer Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, $17.50/hour (32hrs.- 40hrs.)
Baler position: Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm, $17.50/hour (32hrs.- 40hrs.)

Duties:
Inspector/Deluxer
Unpacking while Quality Inspecting large, heavy, bulky furniture consecutively throughout the shift
Computer Skills
Stand for 8 hrs stand, walk, bend and move for the duration of an 8-10 hour shift
Work overtime when needed
Rf Scan Skills
Must have great Attention to Detail
Must be able to use technology such as an iPad
Baler Responsibilities:
Run baler machine to compress and bind cardboard.
Maintain the work area, keep equipment in a clean and orderly condition, and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Break down cardboard for recycling.

Position Requirements:
Grasps and lifts by hand (floor to overhead) and carries heavy and/or bulky merchandise
Read, recognize, and understand numbers and letters to receive the product as well as inspect and pack merchandise using packaging materials to complete customer orders
Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular/pedestrian traffic

Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 75 pounds., required education: No Education Requirement.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $17.50 - $17.50 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
